Design Revisions
The design of a website is something that is unique and personal. Achieving the design of your dreams in one try is something that is not often done. We realize that our first and even second drafts of your site are most likely not exactly what you had in mind. This is why we offer unlimited design revisions. After producing the first rough draft of your site you can request as many design and layout revisions as you feel is necassary. This ensures that you recieve the design you are looking for.
Programming Languages
The Basics makes full use of modern technologies. We currently use CSS and XHTML to develop your site in compliance with many web standards. CSS is a way of controling your sites design with a single file. This allows for much smaller page sizes since most design aspects are stored in a seperate file.
XHTML is new version of HTML. Most search engines and web browsers prefer the XHTML language. This keeps your site in compliance with web browsers while optimizing it for the search engines.
Contact Forms
Forms are a great way to collect information from your sites visitors. Contact forms are always included on our websites at no additional charges. We use javascript to validate the information and PHP to process the information and have it sent to the email address of your choice.
Source Code
When The Basics is finished developing your site, you are entitled to all the source code. We do not keep copyrights on any of the material developed specifically for your site. This allows you to make future updates and revisions on your own.
